Being proficient at drawing is all about seeing. What, you think you can see already?! Let's talk about that.

We look without really seeing. What are the color of your best friend's eyes? Blue. Well....what shade of blue? Are there flecks of any other color in those eyes? How dark is the white of the eyes? What wrinkles(smile lines) are there? What direction do they go?

Start now by looking at the sky after you get loose from your computer. On a clear blue sky day, the sky will have a darker blue (ultramarine blue) overhead, a lighter blue (coblat blue) as we look down, and finally a greenish blue close to the horizon(cerulean blue), then there may be a slightly reddish tinge at the horizon.
